Tardic completed his formal education in the United States after having studied in Italy and his native country Yugoslavia. He has performed and recorded in a wide variety of settings and musical styles, ranging from music of the baroque and classical periods to blues, jazz, and rock. Tadic's performing and recording credits include projects with Terry Riley, The Los Angeles Opera with Placido Domingo, Howard Levy, Joachim Khn, L. Shankar, Markus Stockhausen, Dusan Bogdanovic, David Torn, Maria Joao, Jack Bruce, Djivan Gasparyan and Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri, among others. He frequently performs in Europe, Japan and North America, where his recordings are widely appreciated.
